I never met you, But I know so much about you. You share so much, So much that I feel close. I feel for you, In ways I am not sure is safe. But I know what I feel, I just hope you feel it to. I never met you, But I still love you. It can be hard to love, When you have never met. But you make it easy. I feel like I've always known you. To pack my stuff, Put it in a suitcase. To pull open the door and leave. What would it be like, to pack my stuff and go? What would it be like, to hit the open road, one step at a time? To be carefree with my life. To make my own decisions. To go my own way, whichever it may go. No one to look up to No one to answer to. Answer to myself, Look up to myself. Her First Snickers

A small bar wrapped in noisy foil waiting to be opened. On solid brown packaging one word was written in deep blue lettering SNICKERS. Tentatively she begins to open this mystery candy. Slowly peeling away the foil wrapper, to see the brown candy underneath. She looked at the bar holding the chocolate bar, licking away the slightly melted chocolate, before taking the first bite. Her mouth closed around her bite, the smooth creamy chocolate melting away to reveal the chewy nutty caramel center. As she chewed she found the crunchy nougat bar. She licked her lips clean savoring the last bit of the sweet chocolaty goo

Rays shine, heat flows, energy radiates, a new light each dawning day. Each day rising into the sky, only to set again by the night. Summers heat unbearably hot. Fish Bowl

A vase space filled to the brim with liquid substance, a place that is called home. In this space contains there home, the bowl is filled in steps, very precise steps, so that the inhabitants will survive. First the rock and plants, next the water, followed by the filter. Only after their home has been created, precisely created to their exact liking can they finally be brought home, to live in their delightful fish bowl.

Thunder crashes, lightning flashes rain pours down in buckets. Crouched in fear you sit, hiding as if waiting for some invisible strike. Within your mind streams every atom of your being demands the noise to stop, for the flashing to end. You rock, hands to your ears. People see you as a creature sweating in fear. But do any stop to ask how you are? As the storm ends you uncurl standing rearranging your clothes. You know you are okay. Within your own mind. Safe once again now able to go about your day.

Disappointment

The pain in our hearts become unbearable, as the quilt grows and grows. She said 67, which meant two things. In many ways the mother would be happy, and in many disappointed in her. Disappointed because now she is failing, she can no longer drive; she will now have to sell more tickets. But she will be happy because she will be done with the play. She will be home on time; the bible reading will be accomplished. But the saddest of is that her mother will be disappointed in her inability to keep her grades up.

Well I am writing which is a miracle within itself.  I don't update this often enough.  Maybe I should get on that.  If you haven't noticed, which I'm sure no one has I have recently updated my deviants.  I have pulled out all my old crappy deviants that I no longer care about and am in the process of uploading my new poetry.  So that is what this is for, poetry. Inspiration and Other Such Things

That is what I am need of currently.  I am looking for any form of inspiration.  On top that I need poem topic ideas.  Leave a comment with any ideas you have.  If I can I will try to write out a poem based on your idea. I am also considering writing poetry for money.  Would anyone ever consider paying for my poetry.  I would write on a given subject of your choice.
